In addition to the photography you can see in the gallery on this site Alan is also working on a number of longer term personal photography related projects you can help with.
Old stuff: If you have any old photographs, negatives, transparencies, exposed or unexposed films, or old cameras that have little or no value to you, Alan would love you to donate them to him for something he’s working on. Please use the contact form if you’d be willing to send him something and he’ll get right back to you.
Models: Not in the glamorous magazine sense! Absolutely anyone. Just normal people. Receive a free print for your time. Yes there’s a catch. Don’t expect anything like you might get if you walked into a high street studio! Alan’s style, on his patch (you’d have to get there), on his terms. Drop Alan a message via the contact form if you’re interested.
Free tuition: As a former photography lecturer Alan is looking to test a theory. If you’re a beginner or even a reasonable photographer wanting to take your photography to a different level and would like to spend some time out and about while doing just that, drop Alan a message via the contact form to find out more.
Obviously there are some selection criteria not outlined here for the ‘freebies’, so please don’t be offended if you don’t fit Alan’s profile once he’s asked you a few questions. It’s nothing personal if he decides he and you aren’t the right fit for the projects.
